Riverfest

ICON Water Trails & Iowa Rivers Revival are hosting a river cleanup event on Friday May 19th from 8:30AM-2PM starting at Captain Roy’s at Birdland Marina. This event will feature a land based cleanup option and a water based kayak or canoe cleanup option. After the cleanup volunteers will be treated to a free lunch courtesy of Captain Roys and have the opportunity to learn about water quality by engaging with educational partners at family friendly booths. Volunteers from corporate partners will be able to utilize volunteer hours and can contact Luke Hoffman at luke@iowarivers.org for more information about the event and how they can plan to participate.
