Kick-off Summer with West Des Moines Parks and Recreation at Park PALOOZA, a FREE family-friendly event at Raccoon River Park. The morning begins with the Mayor’s Bike Ride at 8 a.m., featuring a long and a short route. Beginning at 9 a.m. at Raccoon River Park, enjoy FREE activities including balloon artist creations, make-and-take crafts, airbrush body creations, boat rentals at the Boathouse, and inflatables.
